I came across a swim wear brand called Veronica Brett recently which the founder’s vision and mission is to make her customers feel beautiful! It’s such a generic and predictable brand idea for fashion. But this swimsuit brand specially makes swimsuit for women who has breast cancer and went through mastectomy (meaning surgical removal of one or both breasts). The designer/founder herself and her sister and nieces all are survivors of breast cancer and personally feel the frustration of the market’s poor attention for these people’s needs. Their positivity, dedication to care for the others not only make them truly beautiful but also charismatic as they do not get immersed with their personal suffering but break away and look out for a bigger life and hoping to help pick people up who may not be as motivated. It’s very important that when we manage to get out of our personal rut that we also help people with similar problems coz no one would be as helpful as you are! Don’t be shy about your ability to help & to love.
Daily Quote
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
I pray to God that He inspires us through hardships and difficulties that He has arranged, as He never gives us more than we can bear.
