grace or craze

I have been fans of the Commercial Radio 2 since I was small like those Charlie Brown characters, so it’s like decades of listening and I am still are, and HK radio program has transformed quite a bit from developing many different music programs evolving to a lot of phone-in programs and just radio hosts chatting about current news and headlines. Although I am not tuning in round the clock, the hosts I listen to always complain and complain especially about HK local news. Their tone are sarcastic and even patronizing. Yesterday they are commenting on the reclamation plan of HK as HK seems to plan to reclaim a few areas along the coast near the outlying islands, and the host commented by saying they don’t understand why HK does not reclaim a bigger area by adding all these smaller bits to become a larger space (come on – that would upset our ecosystem!) and their tone just makes them sound really normal and righteous. And they could make people feel quite annoyed by each decision HK politicians or officials make. They don’t even do research about things they say but influencing the HK public. I don’t mind people making constructive comments or motivating people to think of bigger ideas but HK people seem to be so accustomed in making negative comments and become angry about almost everything? Imagine if our people or kids are being fed negativism so subtley, who would they become in the future? In Battlefied of Mind’s podcast this morning, Joyce Meyer emphasizes some people just choose to fill themselves up with negative thoughts and they complain, mumble and feel that everyone is difficult. But we can turn things around if we stay thankful and grateful. These days I start my morning prayer thanking God for giving me one of the warmest place to sleep with my fleece blanket snuggling so comfortably, I cannot imagine those who are left in the street without any shelter, food, clothing and friends and family. Compare to those, how can I complain that I am not provided sufficiently. Look more deeply and you will see how much you have how much He has given you. Say grace!

Daily Quote
Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

Isaiah 1: 16-17

I pray to God I will follow His words and thank Him all the time.

Postscript Quote
Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do.
